Our partners in Poland are Wojciech and Agnieszka Kowaleski, directors of Pastors2Pastors, a ministry whose mission is to establish a confidential and ecumenical community of encouragement, inspiration, and leadership development for evangelical church leaders throughout Poland. Less than 1% of Poland is Christian and 40% of the pastors in Poland describe themselves as "headed for burnout". For this reason we have come alongside Pastors2Pastors to help strengthen these men and women of God in such a whitened harvest field. With almost half of fulltime Christian leaders dropping out within their first 5 years of service there is a tremendous need for IsleGO Missions teams to come alongside and empower this ministry.
PROJECTS: Teams are needed for light construction in renovating pastors' homes, training in peer counseling, mentoring/encouraging pastors and their wives, and connecting on an ongoing relational level with the Church, our brothers and sisters, in Poland.
HOUSING: local hotel, inn, or seminary.
MEALS: we provide our own meals.
COSTS: approximately $2500 for the week, including airfare from U.S. hub, ground transportation, meals (except for one lunch), ministry materials, insurance, tips, and an IsleGO t-shirt.
